Doug Farris serves as the Lead Elder of River Rock Church, where he is passionate about helping people grow in their faith and live out the truth of the Gospel in everyday life. With a heart for shepherding and discipleship, Doug is committed to building a strong, Christ-centered church community that equips others to lead and serve. In addition to his pastoral role, he brings a relational and practical approach to ministry, seeking to connect biblical truth with real-life application. Doug values authentic worship, strong leadership development, and fostering a church culture rooted in grace, truth, and mission.

 Philip was raised in a Christian home and accepted Christ at an early age.  He met his wife, Heather, in the fifth grade and they married while in college.  Philip works with an association of Christian schools.  They have three children: Gabrielle, Benjamin and Nathan.  Through the years, Philip and Heather have served in various churches across Virginia and Colorado mostly through small groups and children’s ministries.  Currently Philip serves as a member of the setup and tear down team as well as facilitating a Community Group at River Rock.
